Jackie studied at the University of Chicago on a full-ride scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and a specialization in Disability Studies. She continued on to obtain a Master of Arts in Teaching for Special Education during her time as a Teach for America corps member in the Bronx, NY. She is licensed by the states of New York and Illinois as a Learning Behavior Specialist. Throughout her years of teaching, tutoring, and mentoring experience, Jackie has had the great pleasure of working with a variety of students from all over the country. These students have ranged from Pre-K to 12th grade in age, as well as from the most academically challenged to academically gifted students. Sally

Managing Secondary Education Consultant & Advanced Placement Specialist

Sally began her teaching career seven years ago in the South Bronx as a social studies teacher where she has taught 10th grade global history, 12th grade government and AP Government and Politics. Throughout those seven years, Miss Schwab was a member of her school's instructional leadership team, she served as the head of the Social Studies Department and she was also a Department of Education Model Teacher. Miss Schwab, a three time CUNY Hunter graduate holds her BA in History, a Masters in Adolescent Education for Social Studies and a Masters of Science in Educational Leadership. Currently, Miss Schwab is the Assistant Principal at University Prep High School where she leads teachers to ensure a rigorous and challenging curriculum to make sure they are ready for college and beyond.

Cassidy

Learning Behavior Specialist & High School International Baccalaureate Curriculum Development Consultant

Cassidy is currently a special education teacher at The Clinton School in New York City. She graduated from Duke University in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a concentration in Medicine, and graduated from Hunter’s School of Education in 2018 with a Master’s in Special Education. Cassidy's previous experience includes teaching Regents Living Environment, Earth Science, Geometry, Algebra, Physics, and Chemistry. Currently Cassidy works as an Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) Provider in International Baccalaureate (IB) science courses. As tutor, Cassidy has worked with middle school and high school students, supporting students' success in school and on state/standardized tests.

Aidan

Economics and Mathematics Specialized Tutor with 8+ years experience

Aidan began tutoring fellow students and families when he was just in high school. He continued tutoring throughout his college years while he was an undergraduate student at the University of Chicago. There he graduated with a degree in Economics. He has used this degree in the world of finance, and continues to pass on his expert knowledge in mathematics and statistics through tutoring. Currently, he is an active duty officer in the US Army.

Genevieve

Managing Human Development and Psychology Consultant & Resource Specialist

Genevieve graduated from Northwestern University, earning a Bachelor’s of Science from the School of Education and Social Policy, with a concentration in human development and psychological services. During her time in undergrad, she served as an AmeriCorps JumpStart member as a teacher’s aide for both preschool aged children and at Chiaravalle Montessori. As a researcher, she studied mood disorders and behavioral problems with school aged children. Genevieve is an experienced instructor, having years of experience working with students of all needs. Currently, Genevieve tutors a middle schooler that lives with Autism and ADHD, where they work on both academic and social emotional skills. Now in graduate school, she is studying mental health policy and business administration at Georgetown University.

Melanie

Learning Behavior Specialist & Middle School Dual Language Curriculum Development Consultant

Melanie graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology, a concentration in Medicine and a minor in Chemistry. In 2018, she graduated from Hunter’s School of Education with a Master’s in Special Education. Currently, Melanie is an adolescent special education teacher in New York City. At her current school, Melanie provides Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) services in middle school math and science classrooms. Melanie has experience tutoring all contents grades 6 to 12, preparing students for standardized tests, and creating individualized curriculum to support individual students' needs.

Gabbie

Behavior Technician, Executive Functioning & Autism Spectrum Consultant

Gabbie went to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. As a Behavior Technician at Total Spectrum Care, she is expanding her clinical experience in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA), specifically with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is studying to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to positively impact the lives of the people she already serves and a potentially broader population.
